Grand Canyon in Snow
The Grand Canyon is a spectacular place - especially with a deep blanket of fresh snow as in this scene. I took this while on a hike down the South Kaibab Trail.

Lookout Studio at Grand Canyon National Park
Lookout Studio, situated on the "Edge of the Ledge" as locals like to describe the Grand Canyon rim, was designed by Mary Jane Colter and opened in 1914 - 5 years before the Grand Canyon became a national park.

"Grand View" from the Bright Angel Cabins, Grand Canyon National Park
The Grand Canyon is a magical and mystical place, a spiritual place, a place of wonder, a place of peace. It was a pleasure to live & work here for a few years.

Horseshoe Bend of the Colorado River
Horseshoe Bend is located a few miles downriver from Glen Canyon Dam and a few miles upriver from Lees Ferry. To get this image, I used a length of pvc pipe with a camera mount I fastened to a fitting, pushed the timed shutter button, lifted the camera with the pole to about 15 feet off the ground for the photo. It took several attempts. Glen Canyon National Recreation Area. Note the size of the boats and see one tied up at the campground.
